LEISURE EVENTS
CASTLE RUSHEN.
Located in Castletown, Castle Rushen is one of Europe's best-preserved medieval castles, complete with dungeons and clock tower. Inside, displays illustrate different periods of the island's history and include 17th-century-style furnishings and wall hangings. The castle was home to the last Norse King of Man (who died in 1266). The building is one of the Isle of Man's signature attractions and locals are justifiably proud of its centuries-old heritage.
