10 APRIL. OPENING OF SEA CITY MUSEUM.
With special exhibition 'Titanic the Legend' until the end of the year. As the port from which the 1912 White Star liner set sail, Southampton is at the very heart of the Titanic story. Explore the 1:25 scale interactive model of the ship, experience the 'Disaster Room', and immerse yourself in the 1930s court room which depicts the Inquiry held in London after the disaster.' THROUGHOUT APRIL. TITANIC COMMEMORATIONS.
Including a concert on 10 April from the Queen Elizabeth Terminal, overlooking the berth from which the Titanic set sail. On 11 April 'Look Out!' will be performed at the Turner Sims Concert Hall by White Line-Up: featuring song, music and spoken word, it relates the events leading up to the tragedy, and the aftermath, from the viewpoint of the town and its Southampton crew.
