Business Advantage Terms and Conditions
Bookings
All flight bookings and changes to flight bookings are to be made on-line, and are the sole responsibility of the Business Advantage account holder. Bookings can be made to up one hour before departure.
Changes
Unlimited changes to date, flight and passenger name are permitted free of charge. Changes can be made up to one hour before departure through www.blueislands.com
Blue Islands introduces promotional fares from time to time, and these fares may attract conditions relating to refunds, cancellations and changes.
Refunds and cancellations
Tickets on Blue Islands are refundable. Cancellations must be made through central reservations on 0845 6 20 21 22.
In the case of a cancellation, we will either credit your account or refund your credit card, depending whether the form of payment agreed is monthly invoice or credit card.
In the case of monthly invoice accounts, if a booking is made and cancelled within the same month prior to the date of travel, then it will not appear on your invoice. Should you wish to cancel the booking in the next month but still prior to the date of travel, we will issue a credit with your invoice next month.
Example:
- Booking made in April, and cancelled during the month, will not appear on your April invoice
- Booking made in April, for travel in May, and cancelled in May prior to travel, will be credited against your May invoice
It is your responsibility to contact reservations to advise of a cancellation at least one hour prior to departure, failure to do so will result in losing your ticket, and a refund will not be issued.

Payment terms
Monthly invoice
Direct debit is the preferred method of payment for Business Advantage. Monthly accounts should be settled within 14 days of the month end following the month of travel. Customers will incur an additional charge calculated at an annual rate of 2% above base rate on any overdue amount. The company also reserves the right to close any customer account should payment not be received by the due date.
Direct debit customers will not be charged prior to 14 days of the month end following the month of booking. Please be advised however that, if payment is not received within 24 days of the month end following the month of travel, the company reserves the right to add an additional charge calculated at an annual rate 2% above base rate on any overdue amount and your account may be closed (or reverted to credit card payments).
Credit card
Travel is paid for as booked, and customers receive a monthly travel statement.
Check-in
Minimum times: Check-in desks will open 1 hour before the scheduled time of departure. All flights close 40 minutes prior to scheduled time except for inter-island services, which close 25 minutes prior to departure.
No shows
The absolute minimum check-in times are listed above. If you arrive outside these times, you will be deemed as a 'no-show' and denied boarding for the flight on which you are booked. Blue Islands will endeavour to accommodate you on the next available flight on a standby basis, i.e. subject to availability.
In the event that you decide you are not able to travel on the flight you have booked, you are entitled to cancel your seat and receive a refund for the unused portion of your ticket. NOTE: It is your responsibility to contact reservations at least one hour prior to departure, failure to do so will result in losing your ticket, and a refund will not be issued.
Frequent flyer scheme
The frequent flyer scheme applies on Guernsey-Jersey, Guernsey-Alderney, Guernsey/Jersey to the Isle of Man, and Guernsey-Southampton.
Complimentary travel
Business advantage offers one complimentary return journey per ten return flights booked and travelled. The ten return flights must be on the same route to qualify for the complimentary flight.
Complimentary tickets earned are awarded monthly.
Terms and Conditions of Blue Islands Reward Vouchers
Vouchers are issued by Blue Islands as a reward to Business Advantage customers. A Blue Islands’ travel voucher can only be used to purchase travel on the Blue Islands’ route specified on the voucher. Cash alternatives are not available.
It is the responsibility of the recipient to keep the voucher details safe, Blue Islands cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen vouchers.

Validity
Business Advantage Vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issue. The expiry date is printed on each voucher and cannot be extended.
Redemption
Please call Reservations on 0845 6 20 21 22 to use your voucher, please note vouchers cannot be redeemed on the website.
During the booking process you will be asked to provide the voucher issue number which is printed on the voucher. The voucher may only be redeemed for travel on the route specified on the voucher.
Cancellations
Cancellations should be made with Reservations on 0845 6 20 21 22
Should you need to cancel a booking that was ‘paid’ for using a voucher; you will be entitled to receive a new voucher issued for travel on the same route. The new voucher will be valid until the expiry date of the original voucher.
Minimum requirement
To earn complimentary travel, you will be required to spend a minimum of £5,000 per year on Blue Islands, which equates to 1-2 inter-island flights per week at current fares. Business advantage accounts are valid for 12 months.
