50,000th passenger on Guernsey-Southampton route

A Guernsey mother and daughter were thrilled to be Blue Islands’ 50,000th and 50,001st passengers on its Guernsey - Southampton routes. Mrs Milner and daughter Rosie won two return flights to Southampton and a bottle of bubbly in celebration of this landmark occasion. They were travelling to the UK as Rosie embarks on her first year at Oxford University studying Biological Sciences.
The Milner family are first time flyers with Blue Islands and it certainly won’t be their last, as Mrs Milner commented; ‘we have previously flown with another airline but became increasingly frustrated with the hidden costs so decided to try Blue Islands. We’ve been so impressed with the ease of booking and transparent pricing. The added extras like the complimentary lounge with drinks and snacks, and the excellent customer service, is indeed a welcome difference!’
‘Travelling to Southampton and then hopping on a train for an hour to get to Oxford is so easy too’, she added.
Rosie was delighted with the gifts, as her mum and dad now have free flights with Blue Islands to attend a parents’ luncheon at the prestigious Lady Margaret Hall, where Rosie will be studying.
