Blue Islands is a privately and independently owned Channel Islands based regional airline, with an all ATR fleet comprising of ATR 72 and ATR 42 aircraft and employs 100 people across its bases in Guernsey and Jersey. Blue Islands became a Flybe franchise partner in 2016, operating flights in a mix of Flybe and Blue Islands branded aircraft between the Channel Islands and to the UK. Further to its scheduled operation, Blue Islands operates series and ad-hoc charters throughout the UK and Europe.


Ground Handling Operators - Guernsey

Exciting opportunity to join Blue Islands’ new ground handling team at Guernsey Airport

Blue Islands is seeking to recruit Ground Handling Operators to join its new team based at Guernsey Airport as we expand our Guernsey network with the recent launch of three new routes to Liverpool, London Southend and Newquay, additional European charter activity and continued route development.

Many positions are now filled however there are still some roles available within the team to ensure safe and efficient ground handling of our passengers and aircraft. The roles cover the operation of specialist equipment, loading and unloading of aircraft and taking care of passengers while providing an excellent customer experience. These full-time positions offer a varied rostered shift pattern.

Customer Care Agent - Jersey

Blue Islands requires a Customer Care Agent to join its Customer Care team

This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about providing outstanding customer service, with the ability to work in fast paced environment.

Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a high degree of IT proficiency. Previous travel industry or customer service experience would be advantageous. With a ‘can-do’ attitude, you’ll take great pride in everything you do, thriving on being a member of the Customer Care team.

Direct entry Senior Cabin Crew – Guernsey

Due to continued expansion and ahead of the busy 2019 summer schedule, Blue Islands is seeking direct entry Senior Cabin Crew members to join its Guernsey based team.

Ensuring the safety of and delivering outstanding service to Blue Islands’ customers is only part of what we are looking for from new recruits to our Senior Cabin Crew team. We are also looking for you to be immaculately presented, taking great pride in everything you do, and thrive on being a frontline member of customer facing staff, leading by example and developing our team in the air, driving service and performance excellence and being a true ambassador for the Blue Islands brand.

Based at Guernsey Airport, these are full time positions with a varied rostered shift pattern.

A minimum of 12 months’ continuous flying experience is essential for Senior Cabin Crew applicants, ideally in a Senior Cabin Crew role. You must be in possession of a valid EASA Cabin Crew Attestation, be able to swim and provide references to pass a 5 year background and criminal record check.

Successful candidates will join our next initial training course commencing on 3 June 2019.
