Group Travel Terms and Conditions

Group size
A group is defined as 9 or more passengers travelling together on the same flight(s).

Deposit/Reservation Details
On acceptance of a quote, Blue Islands require a non-refundable deposit per passenger to secure a group booking reservation.                          

Domestic flights £30.00                   
International flights £45.00 

  • Minimum group size is 9 passengers.                 
  • Names and full balance payment are required a minimum of six weeks before the date of departure. Failure to pay full balance by this deadline will result in all seats being cancelled.
  • Cancellations within 6 weeks of departure will incur a 100% fare penalty.
  • Any request for refund of taxes will incur an administration charge per passenger per sector.
  • Names can be changed free of charge up to 6 days before outbound travel date.
  • Names that are changed within 6 days of departure will incur a £50.00 penalty per person. Name changes cannot be made once travel has commenced.

Itinerary changes within 6 weeks of departure

  • One change may be made to either the outbound OR inbound flight/s - subject to any difference in fare plus £50.00 penalty per person per sector/s changed.  
  • Itinerary changes can only be made via the Blue Islands Group Travel Department (subject to opening hours) up to 2 hours before departure.  

Luggage
One free item of hold luggage weighing up to 20KG per passenger is permitted on board.

  • Passengers travelling as a group (excluding infants not occupying a seat) are permitted one item of checked in luggage weighing up to 20KG free of charge. 
  • Additional luggage items may be pre-paid at the prevailing rate up to 4 hours before scheduled departure time through the Group Travel Department (subject to opening hours). 
  • There will be a charge at the airport for any luggage item exceeding 20kg or additional luggage items that have not been prepaid.
  • Cabin baggage - one standard item of cabin baggage measuring no more than 55cm x 35cm x 20cm is permitted on board, plus a second item of personal cabin baggage e.g. handbag, laptop case (of smaller dimensions then main cabin bag). The combined weight of both items must not exceed 10kg.

Payment can be made using any of the following:

  • Credit Cards - All major credit cards are accepted subject to a £15.00 / €20.00 administration fee.
  • Debit Cards - Switch, Delta and Solo are accepted at no charge.
  • Electron Card - accepted at no charge.

Travel Insurance
Blue Islands strongly recommend that all groups are in possession of adequate travel insurance - as should your travel plans be cancelled your flights will be non-refundable.
