Blue Islands has become the personal sponsor of Guernsey FC goalkeeper William Dennis, on loan from AFC Bournemouth.

The 100% locally owned airline will fly the keeper in for five Green Lions matches.

Rob Veron, Blue Islands CEO, said supporting a team which brought pride to Guernsey and delighted so many people was a simple decision to make.

“As an airline connecting an island communities, we are used to playing an important role in island life – and know GFC have firmly cemented themselves among the Guernsey community, earning thousands of fans. Ensuring they have the right calibre of player in place to make the season as successful as it can possibly be is very important to people of Guernsey, and therefore, it is important to us.

“We’re very happy to provide flights for William and his kitbag, and know he will be an incredible asset to this already brilliant team.”
