Swissport appointed as ground handling partner in Jersey

Swissport, the world's largest ground-handling provider, has been appointed by Blue Islands as its new ground handling partner in Jersey. A worldwide organisation, Swissport serves around 224 million passengers each year and employs over 55,000 staff.

Swissport will be looking after all passenger ground handling in Jersey airport, to include passenger check in, boarding and all baggage handling. We are all delighted that our high performance and strong value proposition have been recognised and that the partnership is now set to be extended in Jersey," says a spokesperson from the company. Blue Islands also employ the services of Swissport in Bristol and Southampton airports.
