Corsica information

The UK (including Channel Islands) is currently on France’s “orange” list.

If you are fully vaccinated:

You do not need an essential reason to travel to France and do not need to self-isolate on arrival. Fully vaccinated travellers will need to present the following documents:

  • a completed ‘sworn statement’ (déclaration sur l’honneur) form self-certifying they are not suffering from symptoms associated with coronavirus and have not been in contact with confirmed cases in the preceding fortnight. This can be found on the French government’s website

  • proof of vaccination status

Children aged 12 years old or over who are travelling with a fully vaccinated adult are required to present a negative test result (PCR or antigen). However, they do not need to provide an essential reason for travel, nor do they need to self-isolate on arrival. Children aged 11 years old or younger do not need to present a negative test result to travel.

If you are not vaccinated:

You can only travel to France if you have pressing grounds for travel. The list of pressing grounds is set out in the certificate of international travel drawn up by the Ministry of the Interior.

Each traveller aged 11 years or older must present a negative PCR test taken less than 72 hours before departure or a negative antigenic test taken less than 48 hours before departure.

You may be subject to a random test when you arrive in France.

You must pledge to self-isolate for 7 days.

Further details can be found here.

On returning home to Jersey, all travellers aged 11 and over must complete a Safer Travel registration form prior to their travel home. This must be completed no sooner than 48 hours prior to your return, and no later than 6pm Jersey time the day before. You will then be provided with a free PCR test on arrival.

Fully vaccinated?
Arrivals who are fully vaccinated and received their second dose a minimum of 14 days prior to travel, or who are under the age of 11, will not be required to isolate

Not fully vaccinated?
Arrivals who are not fully vaccinated will be required to isolate until the result of their arrival test is received, and to be tested again on day 8

Passengers between 11 and 17 years will be required to isolate until the result of their arrival test and to be tested again on day 8

Full details of arrival requirements can be found here
