There is adverse weather forecast in the Channel Islands and parts of the UK this weekend (7 & 8 December).

Any customer with flights booked on 7 & 8 December the option to amend travel plans without charge, regrettably some flights have been cancelled. Affected customers will also be advised by email / SMS.

Direct entry ATR 72-600 Captains – Jersey/Guernsey, Channel Islands

Blue Islands provides year-round, sustainable air connectivity to and from the Channel Islands. Our ATR 72 fleet operates 900 flights per month, between Guernsey and Jersey and the UK and Europe.

Our purpose is to keep our communities connected - a vital role, ensuring the socio-economic wellbeing of our beautiful home islands.

For 2025, we are embarking on a new exciting phase as the Channel Islands Airline, evolving our fleet to the next generation of turboprops - the ATR 72-600 series aircraft. As we start this process, we are seeking Direct Entry Type Rated Captains to join our small friendly team in at our bases in Guernsey or Jersey.

About us:
  • We operate 900 flights per month to and from Channel Islands on all ATR fleet
  • Scheduled flights across regional network
  • Plus ad-hoc and series charter flights throughout UK and Europe for tour operators and top-flight sport teams

You will need:
  • A valid UK CAA ATPL(A).
  • British passport holder or right to live and work in the UK
  • to provide references to pass a five year background and criminal record check, plus you must have the right to live and work in the UK.
