100 Species

100+ tree species have been planted because species-rich forest sequester 40 x more carbon than monoculture

Rewild Carbon progress in building rainforest corridors

Before & after

The astonishing speed at which the trees grow has already created a forest corridor in just 2 years!

Universal Hydrogen and Blue Islands planes

Step 2

Next Generation Technology

We're proud to be partnering with Universal Hydrogen, its groundbreaking test flight of a hydrogen powered regional aircraft is a major milestone in this journey. In January 2023, we visited Toulouse with Ports of Jersey, Government of Jersey and other stakeholders to learn more about the progress Universal Hydrogen is making with its model for hydrogen-fuelled aircraft.

Our journey to net zero

Step 3

Net Zero

Connecting people is an essential part of island life; and we have a responsibility to do it sustainably. We’re committed to sustainably connecting our islands, and reducing our impacts through next-generation technologies is our future.

For the longer term, net zero is our ultimate goal.
