Blue Islands plays host to its 'future travellers'

Blue Islands played host to over 20 young travellers from Jersey's Samares School on Tuesday 19 June 2012.

Shortly after arriving at the airport, the children checked in for their flight and printed their boarding passes before being escorted through security to enjoy an inflight meal whilst listening to a talk and watching a demonstration by officers from Jersey Airport's Rescue & Fire Fighting Service.

To conclude their journey, the children boarded a Blue Islands Jetstream type aircraft for a safety demonstration by Captain Andy Vidamour. Blue Islands Managing Director Rob Veron said;

We were delighted to welcome some budding travellers onboard our aircraft. It gave us the opportunity to showcase our services as well as introducing the children to a unique travel experience.
